This course offers an introduction to Kubernetes and placement of distributed applications in a "cloud native" environment. This course is practical with en emphasis on hands-on labs on an experimental environment, allowing to understand the main components of K8s and how to use it. In particular, the networking aspects are highlighted (communications between "pods" within a cluster) together with the concept of services (how apps are "exposed" within the cluster and/or from outside the cluster).
This couse is offered as a 100% offline (asychronous) training. Regular meetings with the teachers will be organized (slots will be determined once the course has started, depending on the avalaililities of all the students, who generally follow different courses in addition to this one).
