Following the requests of some of you, please find attached a set of exam topics from past years (two exam topics and one re-exam, which was shorter).
Question 2 from 2018 is out of scope now.
The
exam will consist of a set of questions, some with sub-divisions. Some
questions will be very short and the answers quite direct.
Others will have some more details and will request you to think about a concrete Big Data management problem.
The best way to prepare is to go through the slides covered in our lectures and ask yourself what are the principles at work, and how to apply them.
You will be allowed to use a. all paper copies of the slides, and b. any personal paper-based notes. You will not be allowed to use any electronic device (computer or phone), so don't count on them being available (no exception).
